This is the sign up form for the Winter 2010 Online Starcraft Tournament. Please make sure you understand what the rules are for this event.
There will be two tournaments, a beginner tournament and an advanced tournament. If you are not sure which tournament you belong to, please read the rules topic, linked above. The short version is that if you are a D+ or above on iCCup, you belong in the advanced tournament. If you are a D or below, or do not know what iCCup is, you belong in the beginner's tournament. The entrance fee is $2 for the beginner's tournament, and $4 for the advanced tournament. If you are an advanced player and you enter the beginner bracket, we will move you to the advanced bracket and any matches that you have played will count against you as losses. Prizes will be based on the total entrance fees collected, we will announce what they are once the tournament begins. Prizes are expected to be for first, second and third place. You may pay in person at one of two booths, or you can pay online through PayPal. If you are paying through PayPal you must cover the fee, which means you must pay $2.37 for the beginner's tournament, or $4.43 for the advanced tournament.
If you have already registered at a booth, there is no need to register again on this page. If you plan on registering at the booth, you can fill this in now so it will be quicker later. If you forget to come by, we'll send an email reminding you.
There will be a booth in the SLC Great Hall on Tuesday February 2nd from 3:30pm until 7:00pm, and one on Monday February 8th from 9:30am until 5:00pm. The tournament will start after that.
You are guaranteed at least two matches, and may be guaranteed more based on the number of people to register. The matches will be done in swiss style elimination, so you will always play someone with the same win/loss record as you.
