Fight Game On!
Since we're running a general Game On instead, what games would you like to see?

At the LAN Event there was some talk of just running a game on. Being an open gaming event, fighting games would obviously be welcomed if anyone wanted to bring them out.

I'll just start off with some I'm planning to bring: - Random fighting games...SSF4, Blazblue, Tekken 6, Melty Blood AA - Beatmania IIDX...i'd like to see how our monitors fare with this game. Widescreen would be perfect for 2 players. - Bomberman!! I have it on my PS3, so we could probably have a lot of players for this one.

I can provide an IIDX controller then. I might bring a few eclectic PS2 games as well since I don't see IIDX staying on all night.

I figure this event will be mostly quiet, essentially a date that we can plan to just hang out in the SLC. There may be a few people who drop by to play video games, but I expect it to be mostly members who post on the forums/are involved with planning.
I'll cancel the TVs, we can use the four monitors for games.
I wouldn't be too worried about bringing "popular" games, and just bring things that people in the club will play. A few fighting games, quirky games and coop games should work really well, as well as anything with pretty neat multiplayer.
...and God Hand.

Especially FSM Hand. I might bring some shooters or other obscure stuff for my own enjoyment. We could collectively play through Chulip...
Jon, do you have component cables for your PS2?

All else fails, we still have the "magic" box.

Yup, i've got ps2 component cables.
Does anyone want to use arcade sticks for shmups/fighting games? Otherwise, I'll probably leave these at home.

I'll be bringing Sin & Punishment: Star Successor, Peace Walker and Dragon Quest IX. That might be it on my end though, not sure there's anything else worth carrying over.

Threw together a poster. It's pretty straightforward. Mike and I were thinking we would just do MC and hand off a few posters to Turnkey rather than breaking anyone's back, since the event is supposed to be low-key.

Truly the most laid back poster ever.

I'm going to head to the school at lunch and just git'er done. Which is to say, print 8 posters and hand them to Turnkey, MC and our wall respectively.

Does somebody have a 360 they can bring? Since I'm telling people to bring games, I feel it would be a good idea to cover our bases/consoles.
