Fall Planning Meeting

Hello everyone! We will be holding our fall term planning meeting this Wednesday at 3 pm in SLC 3103. So feel free to come out to give you input to help us with this term.

ASUS Starcraft II Tournament

We have a Starcraft II tournament happening soon!

On Friday September 24th at 11:59pm a signup topic will appear on ASUS’ Facebook page. If you are one of the first 32 people to post there, you’re in! If you’re not quick enough, you should signup anyway because there are still advantages to it. First of all, you could be selected as a backup if one of the first 32 people does not show up. Most importantly, everyone who signs up on that page and comes to the event will be entered in a random draw for free ASUS swag, win a prize without participating!

The event will be taking place on Wednesday September 29th in the SLC Great Hall, please come at 4:30 to register. The tournament will be starting at 5:00PM sharp, if you are not there we are going to start without you.

Please bring your own computer to compete on. We will have a few laptops for those who are desktop-only gamers but the supply of laptops is very limited.

Detailed information about the rules can be found at http://uwgamers.org/starcraft so I am not going to bore you with the rules here. Remember to come on out to the event, even if you’re not interested in playing. There will be quite a few games to watch and it should be a lot of fun (at least more fun than school work).
