New term, we need your help! Also, Club Days.

Coming up this week are the two Clubs Days of this term. They’re on the 24th and 25th of September, and they run from 10am to 3pm. As always, it will be taking place in the SLC Great Hall. Before that happens, we need your help!

A large amount of our core members are either really busy in their final terms or have already graduated. Now more than ever we need people interested in running events, so that the club can continue to exist. On Monday September 21st at 6pm in the SLC Great Hall, we’re holding our first planning meeting.

If you’d like to help out and get involved with the club, meet us in on Monday September 21st at 6pm in the SLC Great Hall. We should have the club banner with us, but if that isn’t the case we will likely be sitting close to the MPR. If you have any further questions about the club, please email us.

Team Fortress 2 (TF2) nights are continuing this term

Tuesdays at 9pm are TF2 nights for the club. It’s hard to setup LAN events, but it’s quite easy to coordinate over a thing called the ‘internet’. Every Tuesday at 9pm some members join the UW Gamers steam chatroom, and play TF2 together.

Whether you’re helping other members out, or pretending to help other members out before stabbing them in the back, it’s a lot of fun.

Important meeting Monday September 28th, at 6pm, in SLC 2143

Today and tomorrow are the Clubs Days this term. If you’d like to come on by, we’ll be in the Bomber Corner of the SLC Great Hall from 10am to 3pm. The purpose of these days is to get new members interested in the club. Hopefully some of them are reading this right now.

Anyway, we’re having a meeting Monday September 28th, at 6pm, in SLC 2143. Everyone who is helping out with the club this term is encouraged to attend. We’ll decide on our club exec for the term, and decide what events we will hold, and what dates they’ll be.

If you can’t attend, please post in this forum topic to let us know you’re interested in the club, and to mention events that would be awesome or days for events that wouldn’t be so awesome (if you have a night class on tuesday, we’ll try to avoid putting events on tuesday).

We’re running low on recurring exec this term due to people on work terms and the fact that a large amount of people have graduated, so if you want to see all of our events running at full capacity come on out.
