Hi, Everybody!
Hi, Dr. Nick!
Our next event is coming up fast!
Next monday, we say to all of you:

Don’t Study!
and break out your Nintendo DS!
If you’re feeling a need to take a break from studying, (and after all those midterms, who wouldn’t,) come out to the…
SLC Great Hall
at 6:00 pm
on Monday, November 6th.
We plan on playing every game imaginable!
Games we expect to play include (but by no means are limited to,) Mario Kart, Tetris, Metroid Prime Hunters, Meteos, Advance Wars, New Super Mario Bros, Elite Beat Agents (It won’t be in Canada yet… -Harold), Castlevania, Metroid Pinball, Star Fox…. and for the import friendly, Ouendan, Jump Superstars…
And remember, even if you don’t have the game, there’s still download play!
What’s that you say?
“But, I don’t have a DS…”
We have stuff for you too! There will be at least one station of console gaming for everyone to enjoy. And also, our generous members would be glad to lend you a DS to play on!
“I’ve got a PSP, why no love for me?”
Hey, come on out too! I don’t see enough random PSP wi-fi battles in this school!
Also, if you’re tired of missing our events during the week, come and hang out with us in the SLC Great Hall at the next UW Warrior Weekends event on November 11th.
Warrior Weekends is a student-run event which provides a diverse assortment of activities to all students in an effort to increase student night life at UW!
Established in 2002 this program was created to provide students with alternative programming and provide them with something to do once a month on a Friday and Saturday night. The events take place in the Student Life Centre and are free for all UW students.
Warrior Weekends is a partnership between the Student Life Office, the Federation of Students, Housing and Residences and Athletics.
Come on out to our Warrior Weekends events. Be prepared to play hard, play smart and win! Check out the schedule for all the events that will be offered.
We’ll have TVs set up with some of your favourite games as well as a console on the big screen projector.
